Easiest to follow/simplest guide. Ignore the English Patch stuff though, that's old. Just click where it says "English Patch" after "OBT Voice Server" on the forums here, it'll lead you to a thread I massively edited with correct info.
I should also point out the fact that the game is about 33.4 GB. Not small. -

DirectDL (what you used) downloads an installer, then that installer downloads chunks of a MUCH larger installer that often is outdated, then it installs, then it patches. It's really not very efficient. Try NWDownloader, it's essentially the patcher for the game, and it manually grabs/patches the game as the live individual client files. -
U need to start the game over the official website. Can do a more detailed explanation after work. Go and check youtube on how to start bless online. Cry for example got a vid up.
