No, you don't understand me at all. I don't hate the PvE... in fact, PvE is an important step in every game that lead the players to the true world that is the PvP war. BUT, said that, its usefull is pretty limited to that part.Dewulf wrote:

Im pvp'er but pve is also really important for me. Pve server for people who really only want to play this game for pve is fine. As long as it doesnt change the game just to please the pve server too much. Currently there is more pve than pvp in the game. They try to please both sides which is only good for the mmo.
I just honestly dont understand ur hate for the pve lol.

Putting in PvE servers would ruin their income (Peace Declarations and the other item) so I doubt it will come to reality. And even if - I don't really care much about PvE servers.

IF you would have played back the old days with DAOC, you would have been one of the "GreyProtected"...Zazaaji wrote:
Imma carebear. I only play MMORPG's for PvE and despise PvP completely, avoiding it at all costs if possible. In games with forced Open PvP (like BLESS and AION), I just say "screw it" and let them pound me without fighting back. Typically after a few kills, they stop killing me because I'm no fun to kill I've even know of opposite faction guilds (in AION) say to not target me due to being a "loser who doesn't fight back", which is fine by me. Unless of course it's an MMO where they reward all cases of Open PvP, in which case they keep doing it.
Oh well, "Live and Let Die" (Beatles references, not Guns & Roses).
....Of course, when no one tries to attack me, it's the perfect time to attack them....

That's a HUUUUGGGGEEEE generalization. Is it okay if I say that the entire PvP community is a poison for PvE focused games by demanding more PvP nonsense added to the game? It shouldn't be, which is why I don't say it.
I really am a major PvE player, and really do hate PvP, but I haven't ever demanded any change to any MMO I've ever played unless the majority of players also agreed (PvE AND PvP players). The only I can think of that I really got behind was adding Text Chat to the console versions of Elder Scrolls Online. Every single poll of the time around console launch indicated that 97-98% of the entire playerbase (PvE, PvP, all 3 factions, even PC players) thought that the consoles should have had it, since the PC already had it too.
My point is: Don't generalize so much.

But, it was a different kind of conception of the PvP and PvE gaming... speaking on the actually time, the PvE community is a poison for the mmorpg PvP games due to the fact that they want to change the game to a nonsense even if the game can't be changed...

What i mean is that on the old days, the PvE community was really different, and there was a mutual respect between PvP and PvE community (as i explained with the old days on DAOC, but i can add also Lineage 2 on the list)
If i have to speak about the "today" PvE community, they are a poison for the mmorpg games, expecially when they want to play PvP games and whine about change it with nonsense stuff...

make sense?
These are called Griefer, not PvPer... they are a disgrace for the real PvP community...Neviana wrote:
There is a significant portion of the PvP community that will only engage in a 'fight' when the odds are outrageously in their favor. For example: three(3) max level characters teaming up to PK/camp a level 30 player who is alone and seemingly unable to defend themselves. These types of PvP players give PvP a bad name, I believe at the very least we can agree with that.
