Guardian is definitely the tank. Think Templar in AION.

Here's the thing that you guys probably forgot, the guardian like the rest of the other classes has 2 to 3 roles (not sure, they might have changed) and one of those roles is focused on enhancing its damage, so even the guardian class or paladin (for example) can become a damage dealer BUT it will never be like a DPS class (assassin, berserk, ranger, etc). So yeah, its like shyverlynn said however i just wanted to leave some info and facts that classes in bless might be a lot more flexible than we expected to be (I hope I'm not wrong).
