Bless Armor Preview

Neowiz recently introduced the Armor of Bless. Your armor is supposed to reduce the damage you take in battles, but it also should fit your character, your class and your style of play.

First at all, the look of your gear depends on your class and race. Every race has it’s own gear based on his unique story and culture. The vegetation is important as well, in case that your race lives in an area with high temperatures, your gear is more generous than gear from Races who lives in cold areas. That actually makes sense, but in many MMOs it’s usual to use the same gear for all races. The last decisive for your gear is your origin. When you lives in the slums outside of the city, you wear pretty old armor, but since you are getting better off your gear becomes more valuable from time to time.

You start as a common civilian, but with a lot of trainees you will gradually grow into a strong warrior. So for the early levels you have to start with common clothes, but once you’ve started to level up, collect achievements, experience etc. your gear becomes more sophisticated.

It’s pretty difficult to create gear which looks realistic, but since Bless is a Fantasy MMO it’s even more difficult to find the perfect middle between reality and fantasy. The Bless developers team tried it’s best to design some pretty neat costumes.

Female Characters Costumes are designed to reflect the characters beauty. Some people might complain that the armor of females are to “light” but don’t worry, there are also some awesome full body armors.

There are 10 Races in Bless and a lot of equipment that is based on your race, gender, occupation and your environment. Even when there are some designs which looks like the same for every race, it still looks different on female and male characters.

There are 5 types of armors in Bless Online. Every armor class has it’s own benefits and disadvantages. The Robe Armor for example if crafted with magic, very variable but weak when it comes to your defense. The absolute contrary to the massive Armor which is being used by the Berserker for example.

Pick your weapon – The Weapons of Bless

A Weapon is the symbol of Victory and achievement in every Battle.

Bless authentic fantasy world is based on the Middle-Age style. The Bless Studio from Neowiz designed some pretty looking weapons, you can find the results below.

The weapons of Bless are based on real medieval weapons to give a convincing realistic and fanciful design. 
High-Level Weapons

The Paladin can use the ability ”Impact of the hammer” which summons images of your weapon to destroy your enemies with a huge AoE attack. The Paladin actually uses a Mace as Weapon, but with the judgment of god he can cast disruptive skills.

The Sword & Shield builds the perfect balance between your damange and defence.

The Axe deals huge AoE Damage and can stab your foes to the death.

The Mace is one of the most brutal one-handed weapons. Together with the divine power of god it can deals melee and range damage.

The Bow is pretty light and for that reason very easy to handle. You can kill your enemys from the distance with your poisoned arrows.

No weapon is faster and deadlier in the melee combat than a dagger. Even when it’s not as big as a sword, the dagger can defeat his foe within seconds.

 Your imagination is the most critical weapon. The most powerful weapon is the magical staff, which turns your imagination into endless magical power.

The Scythe is directly connected to the death. It’s the perfect tool to defeat your enemys from a short distance and also gives you the possibility to block incoming attacks.

NPCs

NPC’s of Bless

In most MMOs there are NPC’s who gives you quest and items, but in Bless Online the NPC’s are kinda special. NPC’s are interacting with you and the world to make the world of Bless more realistic.

The appearance of NPC’s are important in the game, especially the costumes. Costumes are not randomly chosen in Bless, the NPC’s costume depends on his environment, climate and culture.
For example: There is a Westeuropean Village and based on the currently season the costumes are made in an romantic style.

On the other side, there are NPC’s based on the european Rokoko and Renaissance Style. The Rokoko  Style is an 18th-century artistic movement and style, which affected several aspects of the arts including painting, sculpture, architecture, interior design, decoration, literature, music and theatre. Especially the female costumes are very pretty. The costumes are elaborately decorated to represent the womans beauty.

The appearance of the NPC’s in Bless also depends on his profession and position in the society. There are nobles, merchant, farmer, jester etc. and the clothings are all based on their life.

Bless is coming to Taiwan

One of the leading Publishers Gameflier singed a Contract with Neowiz, the Developer of Bless Online to bring the Game to the Taiwan Market. This is the first Step to bring Bless to the international market. There are still no information about a Publisher for the western market, but Neowiz already mentioned that there are plans to bring the game to Europe and America.

First Beta to start Q1 2014

The first Closed Beta for Bless has been finally announced. In the last finance report from Neowiz, the company is preparing for the first Closed Beta Test in the first quarter of 2014. The game will also go live in the same year for the korean market. For now, there are no information about the Publisher for the west, but we are sure that the first Beta for Bless should start in 2014 as well for the western market.
