    • Why do you say that, Pen? Is it just because of the time needed to train up the life skills for one character -- for armor and whatnot -- or for some other reason?

I like both tanking and healing so I'd planned on one of each class, and a third character just to play about as a DPS.

because enchanting/runing 2 characters is a huge pain. Even keeping up 1 is difficult if you aren't playing for multiple hours a day.

If you want to go both Pala and guardian, make sure to go pala first. Guardian can use your Pala gear without a problem. Pala can't use guardian well though.

        • Sultan Alaaddin Thanks for posting this, may i ask a few questions:

Is there a cooldown in between declaring wars with other guilds?

Can you only declare once on the same guild every season?

What's the maximum amount of wars you can have each season?

Rewards for Guild Wars? Do they scale depending on the guild you had a war with?

          Thanks a lot.

            • If your talking about will characters be wiped from EA to Official release? There answer is no. Your character will carry on from EA to Official release.

I think he is talking about alt and 2nd characters. He is too lazy to LVL up another char and wants everything transfered. At least that's how I interpreted it

                • Thanks, then what do you think they will implement in the West?

In the combat previews you see a number in the circle. I'd assume that's "Stance LvL". I suppose it's related to that.

Maybe your stance gets stronger the longer you play

                    • Sure i can, mind that this system won't be ported to the west though.

Once you reach 45 you will keep getting exp into your expbar. When you fill it completely you will get 1 skillpoint to distribute into your skilltree

                        • U only gain around 3-4 honor points

Compare to arena, u gain 160pt for a win and 40 for a loose (or 700pt for BG100v100)

We will see on steam version if PvP is more rewarding

Wrong, you gain between 3 and 25+ depending on the enemies PVP Rank.

P.S. the 700pts for BG100vs100 is only once a day, but you get honor while fighting as well

                          Meaning to participate in OWPVP:

                          - Basil Canyon (open world pvp zone with rewards and bosses)

                          - Secure Farming/Elite spots

                          - World Bosses

                          The enemy loses:

                          - durability (both in instanced and open pvp

                          - runes (only in owpvp)

                            • With a Level Cap in game from 50 to 55, will there be an Advanced Level system like other MMORPGs out there too?

right now in JP there is.

Post 45 you still collect exp which gives us you 1 Skill point whenever the bar fills

                                • I still believe that JP is more of a public test environement than anything else.

                                    • They are not bound on purchase AFAIK.

that's correct for the JP server. We don't have any information for the western servers yet. The assumption is that they will stop that with IGN currency you can convert into Lumena per NPC. If they decide to keep sellable cs items then they might as well enable currency since that won't matter in the end. In that case it will end just like so many other MMOs before, dead and buried in a couple of months.

                                        • that will end with people buying awakened weapons for irl cash.

i like the system the way it is

                                            • Actually on steam store page it says now that EA will last up to 1 year. So it could be 6 months but it could be 1 year i guess it depends on player feedback...

I totally agree with you, nonetheless it's noteworthy to say a lot of early access devs didn't give a single fuck about community opinion. Nor did they even try to stay in touch with them.

Constant community interaction, sharing of future plans and a transparant development are the base line for a successful EA game. In my opinion, the bless team did a damn good job with that so far.

That only leaves the hope that they will do the same post EA release. It's far easier to sooth the community when they see that the game progresses in the right direction.

Things like QoL changes, minor optimizations, events and slight rebalancing on a weekly/monthly basis amake a hugh difference already. A main problem is the mindset that big updates every 6 months while being a closed book for 5 is enough to keep the community happy. That might work for an established game like WoW or FFXIV but certaintly not for a recently released MMO and even less for an EA title

                                                • They will probably lose out on the Territories yes. The amount of realm points you get from owning these territories is pretty low though. Equipping a full guild with legendary would literally take 1-x years.

You also get realm points from winning guild wars, in case they didn't change that. I don't know the amount you get though, even though smaller guilds with a dedicated core will surely have the edge in this regard.

                                                    • My guess is they will most likely announce release date and packs a week earlier than press release and just focus on showing off the game at press release. On the other hand if they do wait for press release to announce it then it means they are very confident in starting a sale after game is shown to the public and that's a really good sign.

finally someone that uses common sense these days.

                                                        • Tax is an interesting concept. Coming from the FFXI perspective, tax didn't always work and RMT was quite prevalent in that game during it's hay day. RMT usually went around the tax by running bazaars where tax was free. If Neowiz does the tax system then it needs to be realistic enough not to penalize sales on the AH. Especially since trading isn't allowed right now, I could see there being alot of drama if that was the case.

RMT can't work in JP. No way to get a large chunk of gold/item from 1 char to another.

If they reduced the AH Tax they would have to significantly raise Repair Costs, Travel Costs and Merchant costs. Which would overall be a bad idea.

While AH Tax mainly hits the rich and the fortunate, an incease in Vendor or travel costs would hit everybody equally. Even worse, repair costs will hit poor players far harder than rich players.

Overall the AH system is well thought through and probably one of the best gold sink systems I've seen in any game. Sometimes you need to stick with a system no matter how much drama is generated by the less knowledgable/intelligent parts of the playerbase

P.S. the AH Tax doesn't punish selling on the AH.
