    • Hi. I'm pretty sure this happened with the last patch.

When I am running on my mount by using the mouse buttons, I can't jump. Instead it brings my mount (horse) to a halt and it rears up as if it was standing still. I'm 99.9% sure this was broken in the last patch. I use mouse to run about 90% of the time and constantly jump on my mount. I've never run into this issue before today.

If I use the forward directional key while moving, my mount will jump....just not when using the mouse to move.

      PLEASE fix this.

also plz fix target self not working unless you are in a party.

also plz fix not being able to turn while jumping.

        • I play a mascu mage. I can cast in the air, except blink. I can't turn though while in the air...only the camera turns, then when I land I'll change direction to whatever angle the camera view is. When I cast, I of course get the 'target must be in front of you message'

In other games I simply jump, and use either right or left to kinda 'grab' the screen and flip around. Usually in other games, left click will rotate camera and right click will rotate character, or some variation like that. Neither left or right click will work to turn in the air, nor both at the same time. I can't get any sort of head or body turn from my character while in the air. Just tested on my mount too...same deal. ..maybe I'm not using the right variation of keys...or if there's some camera option I'm missing.

*edit* you definitely need to occasionally hit the esc key twice to clear target, sometimes once.

            • yeh that's how I've been getting off target, but I've noticed that I need to hit esc twice sometimes to get off target...that leads to spam and brings up the menu sometimes which I need to esc out of again.

making target self 'work' seems a pretty easy fix.

I've also noticed I can't jump in the air and turn to target...I get stuck in a static jump till I land. I really miss being able to kite, jump and turn, fire a spell, and turn and land again.

                • Hi.

I'm not sure where to post this stuff, but target self doesn't work unless you are in a party. It's kind of a pain in the butt to have to remember to target self by spamming esc and having nothing on target..rather then just using target self.

Also there's many key combos that I can't set hotkeys to, which I normally use in other games. I've had to modify how I use the keyboard to accommodate this game's lack of hotkey settings. Seems kinda weird that we can't just set any keybinding. I have always used my mouse scroll wheel to set hotkeys to, but this is the first game where I've been unable to do that.

also the one of the dragon spirits has a typo.;)

                    • ok so I got some info on it.

It seems that when you stance switch, it will consume some of the corresponding element that you switch into. If you notice when you stance switch you will get a short buff. I think the elemental points decide how strong the buff will be...or you might not get the buff at all if you don't have the points built up.

I think it consumes 1000 element when you switch stance, which is what provides the buff.

Please someone else explain better or correct me if I got anything wrong :)

                        • I'm curious to know as well! Someone else asked in another thread and all they got was a 'you'll figure it out eventually' response.

I'm lvl 31 now and have completely ignored the whole element mechanics. I have no idea what those 3 bars do, and I haven't spec'd into any of the elemental bonus. I haven't seen any tool tips or info about wtf these elemental points do.

                          someone plz explain :)

                            • i've been using my razer naga buttons. Only issue is that you have to change the buttons on the mouse to align with the ingame macros since the ingame key settings are so limited. Like not being able to set a macro to the mouse wheel for example, or not being able to use alt+ or cntrl+ key combos in game.

I have my 1,2,3 and r,t,y set on the side key pad of my mouse, also have non-chain skills on there as well, stance switch on scroll wheel click..etc.

Hopefully in the future they allow us to customize in game macros how ever we want, but until then I'll just change settings on my mouse buttons to align with in game settings, as I said. I would really like to be able to put blink/shield on my mousewheel, instead of zooming in and out.
