I think a lot of people haven't heard about it or have just forgotten but there is a monster out there called Star Citizen. Sure it's not a fantasy based rpg but its still an mmorpg and what they are doing is impressive.
I never really thought of it in that aspect. To me, I was thinking more along the lines of cross faction spying. If the PvP skirmishes and the Guild Vs Guild events are a big part of the game, then limiting cross faction would be logical.
Yeah I agree that cross faction spying might be an issue and faction lock "may" help to reduce it but I think if peeps are that desperate to spy cross faction then they will find a way to do it even with a faction lock. To those people I say "What ever happened to playing games for fun ? " Either way its Neowiz who will make a decision, I can have an opinion but I will support their decision. I'm 99.99999992% expecting faction lock. That fine gives me an excuse to lurk in some other servers.
Is there anyway to see ping and fps in-game without using a 3rd party application?
Welcome Mayushii to the community
I hope your enjoying the genre, its been dark times for a while now. Lets hope Bless gets it right.
I think we all know ranged is easy mode I'm going to hide now eek!
There are currently not any p2w games that are doing well. Most have a very low player base and are on a downhill slide, look at Tera for instance. They just announced today they are doing server merges. Server merges = game is on its last legs.
P2W games do just fine in the East as some of those cultures employ the concept of "face". I have even seen Eastern P2W games increase servers. Obviously I agree that in the West P2W games aren't so crash hot. It's mainly just a cultural difference and dev's should be aware of it as I believe Bless is with their business model. Gooooo Bless!
I like to think more in terms of dollar per hour of entertainment and how much am I willing to spend for an hour of entertainment. Am I likely to play this for more than 100 hours? Yes. Is $1 too little to pay for an hour of entertainment? Probably. Is $100 dollars to little to ask for more than 5 days (in real world time) of entertainment? You betcha. $100? Thats darn cheap IMHO. I would pay more.
Obviously my point of view is my point of view and opinions differ. Also in the interest of making the game achieve its "massively multi-player" status, dev's need to consider diverse player budgets etc.
$47 sounds about just right.
Id like to see a server faction lock where you cant have both factions on same server
I can see why people would want this but as a business you want to keep people in your "store" for as long as possible. Imo I don't think its a good business decision. I don't mind playing on more than 1 server but I'm sure there will be people who just want to play on 1 server and restricting their options may cost in the long run.
Devs have already said they are considering making Player Trades part of the NA Early Access.
Could you point me to where this was stated as it is not reflected on the FAQ's.
I'm using tab targeting and it feel great tbh.
Kewl TY for the heads up
Am I the only Hieron guy here?
I would like to play both so hopefully the devs will consider no faction lock.
Tab or Action Targeting for priest pally? I suppose its going to change but how much? Who knows?
