Hello all!
I am having an issue where all NPCs have broken dialog. It happened when I logged in today and I have not been able to fix it even after relogging 3 times. I am not sure what exactly is causing this but it is problematic as I have no idea (for the most part) what option is what.

This is how every NPC dialog looks for me, not matter where I've gone. I believe it is a bug since it can be re-produced using the same steps and exiting the game has not fixed the issue for me.

If anyone has any suggestions on what might help I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you! :3

Actually a lot of people had a rough time getting in and staying in the servers, especially with queues reaching into the thousands. Plus a ton of instances were bugged out, so not much you could do even if you were able to get online. But yeah I think they will get this fixed faster than SE fixed that

The difference, however, is that with SB you were able to get on the server (save Balmung and Gilgamesh, but that was expected...) and do other things. I've gotten stuck on the title screen bug more times than I can count and when you can't even get to the server select screen to see that you can't get on one of them it's worse than being stuck behind a buggy instance server.

It is, however, better than ArcheAge which I gave up on trying to log in to after day 4 and never played because I knew I would never be able to catch up or do anything worthwhile in.

OMG I know that was hell! I took a week off work to play that and it was horrible. 24+ hours of spam clicking just hoping to get lucky and get past the quest..then the few who did get lucky got stuck in Ruby Sea. This launch is nothing compared to that xD

Hey there! Since I'm having trouble getting back in game I figured I'd post here.

My name is Rosy and I have an Elf Mage

I spent about an hour and a half making her so I'm super happy with the results..I haven't gotten in game yet to see her better but I'm working on it.

I am really looking forward to the monster taming in this game. I have played games like Ark, Perfect World, Dark and Light, and others with that feature and loved it.

I'm not new to the MMO scene, I've been playing for 10+ years now. I've tried more games than I can count, but a few I'm playing now are Conan Exiles, Wurm Unlimited(<3), Final Fantasy XIV (I always come back to it..lol) and of course this! I also play quite a few single player games like God of War(2018) and Horizon Zero Dawn.

So, any tips for a newbie caster??

Going to try re-installing it while playing on my hubbys pc cause his works. Don't get me wrong..I've experienced worst pre-plays and pre-purchase headstarts than this..(good example: FFXIV:Stormblood when 90% of the playerbase couldn't progress because of a damn quest bug that only allowed a very few lucky amount past it..and 24+ hours were spent spamming the npc trying to get lucky..ugh)
Still excited to play this!

I've heard some people just spam launching until it works too, I hope the DEVs are still working on this and give us a fix--maybe a title screen skip or something like that since that splash seems to be what everyone is stuck at. Hope to see everyone in game soon!

I got mine to load after changing aspect ratio to 4:3, windowed..was able to make a character (took an hour+ cause I'm high into details) then get kicked trying to load the game. Stuck on loading screen..finally get to choose my character only to be kicked again before the game even loads me in..and I'm stuck again. Whatever they did during maintenance to "fix" it did not fix it at all..

This worked for me when nothing else did, thanks

Hey guys, I was browsing through the INI files and found that the default in it is 1280x720 however when replicating the title screen issue I was able to do so in almost every Resolution and Ratio as well. Here is the fix and its not fun but ensures you can play. Once inside the game you can change your settings back to how you like. Just remember until they fix the issue you will have to do this setting each time.

!. At the Bless /Play Now screen click the Cog for system options

2. Set Display Mode to Windowed

3. Aspect Ratio to 4:3

4. Resolution to 1024x768

Hope this helps you all out, it has something to do with the default settings not launching. See you all in game, of course there will be kinks its US/EU launch week.
