It doesn't take time to download it, only like 4 seconds so your method is unnecessary.
If the files weight were like 100MB+ I would understand why you would do that, to make it faster, but it's fast anyway.

Why turn away someone more exp'd when he is helpful, informative, and improving code out of free will regardless if deemed necessary
How about 'Wow, what a wonderful resource that could assist me in the future if I ever bump into a problem my programming skills can't handle at the moment'
English likely isn't his first language, cut the guy some slack on the mannerisms if he injured your pride.
Forums should be a helpful give and take - not pushing someone out -

I don't think it's needed that you will create another patcher it will make a mess.
I will actually take your advice and release soon another version of the patcher that will auto-detect installation directory, didn't knew you can retrieve it from registry.
Anyways, I will think of improvements and if needed I will speak with you for help .
