    • Massively interview with Game Director Jae-hoon Jeon.

Someone posted this on steam forums, thought to share it here

"We haven’t finalized our monetization plan, but we understand your concerns about P2W. Of course, that isn’t going to happen and we will share our plans once they’re finalized. We are leaning more towards the B2P model, but a final decision hasn’t been made. Once we have all details in place, we’ll be sharing it with everyone."
    • Thank you for the link. I'm going to quote some lines from the interview.

Depending on the player’s choice, Bless characters can have their own combat style and combat mode, even if they wear the same equipment and have the same level. Your class dictates your skills and abilities, but how you approach combat and what equipment you wield can vary greatly.
... 'even if you wear the same equipment [...] what equipment you wield can vary greatly.'
      I don't think so.

That aside - what do you think about that statement? I have to say I don't see great variety when it comes to a single class. Do you?

That's new! So they won't call it beta but make it early access without a wipe. I like it.

'OF COURSE'. Well, there you have it, Ladies and Gentlemen; it's obvious.

Yeah this article was propaganda if I've ever seen it. So much inflated and exaggerated information it's ridiculous. In short nothing really new in this article but I find it funny that he white-washes Blesses past. I guess they are trying to pull a fast one on the community. Good luck...

Oh so, it will be B2P then? Great, i see im not regretting swearing the people who prefered B2P :) Im looking forward to see Bless get worse corrupted in NA/EU than it is in Korea. Good luck.
It might be. I don't think its clear yet. Hopefully it won't change much between JP and NA/EU. I don't think it should follow the KR model though.
    • Im not sure, the B2P vote bar won in the first place. I read somewhere they were going to release it as P2W, but i doubt it will happen this way. I dont know how the game is going in Japan, good, bad? So, in the KR it is free or b2p?

The poll may or may not impact the game. Furthermore Bless developers have stated multiple times that they are trying to avoid a P2W system.

I know it wont go P2W ofcourse but, im a bit upset for an incomplete game to be B2P i mean, what an actually old and corrupted game worths to be B2P if it lacks appropriate combat system and optimization? Anyway, lets see how it'll goes..

I wish we'll have mystic class in the EA, so the people that want to main that class won't have to wait 6 more months or play with another class and then start over. Hope that will be one of the new things for NA/EU they are talking about.

It won't be B2P at first. I assume EA will be available to people who are willing to support the game. Something similar to founders packs with multiple options available. I don't know if EA would be free or not but it might be since both the JP and KR version are free.

Yep, a couple of packages for EA. They didn't talk about f2p option, maybe closer to the release date they could let people try the game for a weekend or something like that, as many games do:

      • What is Bless Online’s business model for Steam Early Access?
      • For Steam Early Access, we are planning a couple of packages that will provide benefits to our early supporters that want to get in early to help us create the final version of the game. We are working on the details and will reveal them when we are ready. We haven’t decided on what the launch version will look like yet and would love to get some feedback from you.

They could learn a lesson from NC Softs launch of BNS when it comes to founders pack. I think the two lower tier of BNS' founders packs were well received but the price the bigger one was ridiculous. In short it should be relatively cheap with meaningful short and long term benefits.
